Four standard sizes available - mini-lathe, small bead lathe, medium glass lathe, large glass lathe. However, we can build the lathes smaller, bigger, shorter, longer, higher, lower, left-handed, right handed, with small chucks, medium chucks, large chucks or extra large chucks. We build lathes in any combination, no limitations, to fit your production needs.

Medium Glass Lathe for oil lamps and more - Model # ML 51-24
Large Glass Lathe for big and long jobs - Model # LL 70-48
These glass lathes can be purchased in medium or large size. The medium lathe's capacity is 51 mm & 24" and the large capacity is 70mm & 48". The lathes run with a gear motor and with a speed control.
The glass lathes have a safety clutch on both sides and can be used to twist the glass, by holding one of the chucks. The lathes have "C" clamp type chucks specially designed for holding the glass tubes. The newly redesigned quick action chuck is keyless, pinless, and allows fast loading and unloading of the glass.
Inserts are included to hold the correct diameter of the glass. Each size glass tube needs an insert. Only one screw is needed to hold the insert. It is easy to change the insert and is a very inexpensive solution, which eliminates the 3 jaw systems. The stopper holding system keeps the rubber stopper in place, blocking the stopper so it will not move.
